“I’m Home!”–One of My Favorite Stories

Kari Lemons and her family just returned from Cambodia Ties 2011. She posted this wonderful story on our Facebook page. With permission, and a HUGE smile on my face, I share it with you.

Kari writes:

My favorite picture of the whole trip is from our first day touring around in Cambodia. We were at Banteay Srei Temple early in the morning, I had just told the boys that this place was made by THEIR ancestors, it was a part of who they are, millions of people from around the world come to visit what their ancestors built, you are from a great people. Look closely at this place, feel your ancestors here. They both went out exploring, wandering around, when all of a sudden Dara turning around and spread out his arms and screamed at the top of his lungs “I’m home”

  1. Thanks for the feedback. I looked at the option box that allows the share buttons and I had it marked. Like you, I looked around on the blog and didn’t see it. But, when I click on the article, as opposed to clicking on the site page, the buttons do show up. Kind of confusing. I hadn’t noticed that before.
