WELCOME TO THE TIES PROGRAM
The Ties Program is a travel program for adoptive families who
would like to visit their child's country of birth, and travel in a
supportive environment with other adoptive families.
For more than a decade, we have specialized in customized
international adoption journeys that are nurturing, “adoption aware,”
child centered and fun!
We experience the culture and see the sites, but even more
importantly, we:
- Help children see that the people with whom they share their
heritage are warm, wonderful, genuine people.
- Help families reconnect with significant people and places
related to their adoption.
- Offer optional “Talk Times” throughout our programs—done by a
trained adoption social worker or adoption professional.
- Give children a sense of belonging as they experience their
birth country with other adoptive children.
- Provide a foundation for understanding cultural issues related
to adoption.
- Offer humanitarian aid options via our sister organization World
Ties.
